The purpose of this concert is to re-awaken folks to the fact that Katrina is not over. New Orleans is such a proud city, announcing the unbelievable rebuilding of the French Quarter and telling how the people have come together to restructure New Orleans. However the fact is, the back sidewalks of the city are still in great distress. Thousands are still without homes. Way too many are living in Fema trailers unfit to be lived in. Many are suffering illnesses. The devastation is far from over. We are reaching out with this benefit concert hoping to make people aware New Orleans still needs our help desperately.
